Catharine Ackerstrom

Director of Events

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Caty is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, and has been with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for over 18 years. She first began her career in operations, then switched to events, and has been planning ever since!

Jessica Frazee

Senior Event Planning Manager

Jessica is the Senior Event Planning Manager. Jessica was born and raised in Florida and received a degree in Event Management from University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Jessica joined our Hyatt Hotels and Resorts family in September 2011 and our Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill family in 2017.

Steve Baughan

Senior Event Sales Manager

Steve is our Senior Event Sales Manager. Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Steve received a hospitality degree from James Madison University. Steve has been with Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill for over 19 years and has experience in off-premise catering in Washington, District of Columbia.
